LEGEND
DCR – DCR auto adjusts the brightness in dark areas of the screen. This helps in achieving darker black levels,
and a higher dynamic contrast. DCR is perfect when watching movies or video content.
Eco Mode – Eco mode offers five display settings with hotkey adjustment (Text, Internet, Game, Movie and Sport)
to meet different viewing conditions and reduce energy consumption.
EPA – The EPA’s Energy Star label represents a standard of excellence
that all environmentally-conscious manufacturers want to meet.
EPEAT – The EPEAT rating system evaluates monitors and other electronic products.
To qualify for EPEAT registration, a product must conform to all the required environmental performance criteria.
e-Sensor – When users are no longer in front of their monitor, the infrared e-Sensor detects their absence and reduces brightness
accordingly or turns the monitor off to save power.
i-Care – This practical light sensor enables the ultimate in viewing comfort. It ensures less eye fatigue by adjusting screen bright-
ness automatically according to surrounding lighting intensity.
i-Menu Software – The i-Menu allows accessing the OSD settings using the mouse so that adjustment procedures
are easier and more comfortable.
Low power consumption
Off Timer – Saves 50% energy.
Enables users to set an alarm clock to turn monitor off automatically
reddot design award winner 2008
RoHS – The restriction of the use of certain hazardous
substances in electrical and electronic equipment
e-Saver – The e-Saver software allows the power consumption of the monitor to be lowered when the PC is off or in screen-saving
and user-absence modes. It is also possible to select the time when the monitor should be turned off to save power.
USB – Devices conforming to the USB standard, such as flash memory (USB sticks), hard disks and cameras,
can be easily connected.
Win7 – Products with the “Compatible with Windows 7” logo have passed Microsoft-designed tests
for compatibility and reliability with Windows 7.
WLED – LCD flat screens with LED backlight technology are different from those with conventional backlights.
Some of their advantages are that they are 100% mercury-free, are considerably more energy-saving, and create less waste heat.
Using a WLED backlight also leads to brighter, more natural pictures and a faster response time.
